August Favorites

I'm not sure why but I feel like it's been forever since I have written a monthly favorites post. I'm so excited to share them with you this month since my two favorites are items I have fully customized.

I have been following the resin jewelry trend for awhile, favoriting a ton of styles on Etsy. I found Lilia Smith's Designs and fell in love with her unique items. Of course I found her while searching for resin jewelry but she also creates and sells prints and wire jewelry.

I wanted a piece that would match all of my jewelry, last season I was very into the rose gold trend but I currently wear a lot more silver. I asked Lilia if she could make a clear resin ring with gold, rose gold, and silver flakes inside. Lilia was awesome to work with and if you want a similar piece you should definitely scroll through her Etsy shop.

I love this combination of colors
I couldn't be happier with the results. I think this ring looks great stacked with my claddaugh!

When I asked Lilia what inspired her to create these gorgeous pieces she noted that she's inspired by;
 "a mixture of aesthetic (and) how people will use unique styles to augment their daily fashion, creating absolutely beautiful looks. (I also have) a pure desire to make people happy in a simple and affordable way"
My second favorite thing this month is my denim jacket. Although I haven't been able to wear it yet (it is still about eighty degrees in New York), I have been collecting patches. I bought a few online, and plan on purchasing more on trips.
 I Cannot Wait to Break This In

My first patch is from El Castillo del San Morro, which I got to visit for the second time this August. The Castle is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico and I would recommend visiting if you ever get the chance. It's amazing to tour a piece of history, and the views are breathtaking.

I purchased my jacket from Forever 21. You can find a similar style here. I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the jacket. I searched for quite awhile to find one with a shade of dye that I liked, a good fit, and quality stitching.

My Patch Collection So Far
If you are interested in my other patches I have linked them below. I'm excited to find more unique ones as I go.
