New Nightly Oil Routine

If you regularly read my blog I'm sure you already know that I am obsessed with Tarte's Brazilliance Self Tanner, it's something that I use regularly throughout the year. It leaves my skin feeling soft, doesn't irritate my skin (even on my face), and it creates a beautiful and natural looking glow.

Recently I have been trying the #BarSoapChallenge--- that's not a real hashtag but it's what I have decided to call the project. To summarize; my boyfriend thinks he knows a bit more about skincare than me so I decided to give his suggestions a try. You can find out if his challenge works here.
A New Addition to my Routine
After changing up my cleansing routine, the one problem that lingered was the dark spots and irritation caused by past breakouts. Since I had such great luck with Tarte's tanner, which also contains this oil, I was ready to try Tarte's Maracuja Oil.

In the past I had heard great things about how it has improved the texture of skin, and also it's anti aging benefits. According to Dermstore the oil "helps rebuild and repair damaged skin, shields it from future aggressors and rejuvenates dull, tired skin; imparts a brighter appearance; deeply replenishes and retains hydration".
I Never Imagined I could Reduce the Size of my Skincare Arsenal

I have been using this oil every night since Friday (5 nights ago), and saw a noticeable improvement even upon my first use.

I think I will continue to use this in my nightly routine, paired with Tom's Beauty Bar I have seen my skin transform. It will take time for the dark spots on my face to fade, but so far I am very happy with what I am seeing. I often go without makeup, to work, run errands, etc. I feel much more confident when my skin is clear and even looking. Upon waking up my skin feels amazing! I'm excited to see how my skin transforms over the next few months.

Have you tried Tarte's maracuja oil? Tell me about your routine below!
